The instructors are very helpful and layout exactly what they are wanting from you without guessing. They are prompt with their responses to questions.

I love that capella gives the flexibility to complete my degree for masters online around my full time work schedule. The thing I would like to see changed for those that have to pay out of pocket, to allow a longer payment option then just 10 weeks to pay for 2,000 course. It's difficult with other loans, to pay.

In my experience at Capella University as a Grad student, you are expected to be very dependent with very little direction. Instructors are mostly helpful but there are some that barely respond to you. It is hard as a grad student so you have to understand and be a self starter. It will be worth it once I finish.

My experience with Capella has been amazing. Not only has my advisor kept me informed on my status, she has communicated with me clear enough for me to understand. She walked me through step by step and continued to keep in contact with me. I'm excited to start!

I love the flexibility when completing assignments. I am able to work fulltime and take care of my family without the pressure of everyday obstacles that arise. One issue that I struggled with is the communication with billing and financial. It was very difficult to try to speak to someone without having to wait on the phone countless minutes on "hold". If there could be simpler way to text back and forth directly it would be much easier for working students who are also parents. But overall my experience has been great!

My experience so far at Capella University has been astounding ! My professors are helpful and provide all the tools necessary to excel in the online class. While navigating the course room to complete work, they helped me through the entire process on how to properly submit assignments and get external resources to help complete the assignments as well. Each assignment is properly listed and the directions are always clear. Each course has about 4 professors assigned to help assist in any of the students questions or concerns making it easier for every student to receive a reply on their concerns much sooner. Overall my experience at Capella is going well and I hope to end my journey at Capella with an excellent gpa and a brain full of new knowledge!

Overall, Capella is a good school, it’s just sad they don’t really offer financial aid, they automatically encourage student loans. Not everyone wants student loan debt and not everyone can afford to pay out of pocket for school, especially since federal aid says a person is approved for a great amount of financial aid. The school should acknowledge this.

There is zero communication from staff, other than scripted prompts that don't make sense with your needs. The staff is completely unprofessional, and absolutely does not care about their students. The professors are absent, do not give clear direction on assignments, and are unresponsive. You are on your own for learning content. This school is 100% for profit only, and will not help you learn or become a good student. I highly consider attending a different school if you value education.

I thought it was a great program and all the faculty was wonderful. Even though it was all online I never felt like I didn’t have help or resources from the college.
